Does Deeper work with my smartphone and tablet?
Deeper works with all smartphones and tablets that support iOS 5.0+ or Android 2.3+ operating systems. Just to be sure, head to iTunes or Google Play to see whether Deeper application is compatible with your device.
Is Deeper resistant to water and shocks?
Yes, it is. While designing the device, we had in mind that it has to be resistant to water in the depth of up to 1 meter as well as small shocks
How does Deeper work?
You attach the device to a fishing-line and by using the fishing rod throw it to the location which you want to explore or catch fish. After hitting the water surface, Deeper sonar automatically turns on and sends all of the information of underwater: depth, fish, water temperature and more. This could be done from the coast, any boat, kayak, bridge, or harbour.
How long does the battery last?
With a single charge, you will have four hours on water surface and up to two-month of sleeping mode.

Why do I need to charge Deeper every 2 months even when I'm not using it?
Deeper is powered with lithium ion battery and in order to extend battery's life, it has to be charged once in a while while being stored.
Why there are three bolts in the package? How do I use them?
Firstly, you should stick to using one bolt. If you attach all three of them, you might lose some accuracy of data. We've added a few, for you to have some spare ones
Why does the bottom on my display move while Deeper is floating at the same position?
What sonar draws to you is actually the history of what was under it. If the sonar doesn't move, it keeps recording the same view, unless there’s a fish or any other object that goes under the sonar. If you drag Deeper towards you, it will record all the views under it along the way to you.
What is the difference between two frequencies?
Precise narrow beam (15°@290kHz) is used for high accuracy returns of fish, structure, detail and bottom profile. Wide beam (55°@90kHz) provides ample search area for fish, bait fish and bottom structure. It is best to use low frequency (90 kHz) setting to figure out where the fish are and switch to the high frequency (290 kHz) setting to get more accurate information about fish position and bottom structure

The app is free to download but you need the Deeper sonar unit in order for it to work.
